A new pizza shop called Mad Pie opened behind Down to Earth in Kakaʻako. Originally named Fatto a Mano at the local farmers markets, this shop now has its first permanent location under the new name—and it’s already drawing crowds! Unlike Fatto a Mano which served more Neapolitan style pizza, Mad Pie uses a sourdough pizza dough that ferments for at least 4–5 days (sometimes up to a week), resulting in a crust that’s both chewy and flavorful.  Whole pizzas are around $30, and slices start at $5. Perfect for grabbing a bite while exploring Kakaʻako!
